We have chosen NOT to have a cart on the web site. We prefer a more personal contact with our customers and often we need to discuss jewellery or perhaps length alterations with our customers.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express through PayPal. PayPal will accept the mentioned credit cards. You just click on 'send money' and type in my e-mail address which is designer@stjerndesign.com
Not signed up for PayPal? - YOU can sign up for PayPal's FREE services, a 100% secure payment system using this web site. www.paypal.com. Any problems or hesitation, please let me help you out or guide you through!
Alternative payment methods include: Personal cheques, money orders & direct bank deposit.
Please put my name, Gitte Stjerne, on your personal cheque. Cheques take 3 working days to clear. Your order will be shipped upon clearance of the cheque.

All prices on the web site are stated in Australian Dollars AUD as well as American Dollars, USD
We currently process on-line orders in American dollars.
SHIPPING TO CUSTOMERS IN AUSTRALIA
Shipping in Australia is FREE OF CHARGE WHEN YOU PURCHASE AN ITEM NO LESS THAN AUD 49.
We use Ordinary Post which should reach you in a day or two. For orders below AU$ 49, please add AUD 5 to the total cost.
In you need the item sent by Express Post, I will calculate the cost paid by you.
For Personal cheques, the product will be shipped upon clearance of cheque. For Australian customers that normally takes 3 working days. As a special service to repeat customers who we know and have been dealing with for years, we are able to ship their products as soon as we receive their cheque!
For money orders, products will be sent upon arrival of check. Money orders can be arranged through the Post Office at a low cost, approx AU$ 2.50.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS – OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA
Shipping to the US is US$ 7. All parcels are sent as insured registered post via airmail & postage takes approx. 1 week.
Cost & shipping for other International orders are provided upon request.
If you are ordering from a country outside of Australia, I will calculate the shipping and insurance based on applicable costs to ship to your country and send a confirming e-mail requesting your approval. Any applicable import fees and/or taxes will be your responsibility.
International orders will be shipped according to your preferences. Please e-mail me your special requirements.
All available jewellery items will be shipped within 1 day of payment confirmation. If an item is no longer available due to a previous sale, I will notify you within one business day by e-mail or phone. Options for ordering a similar item will be discussed, and an alternative time frame will be suggested.

GUARANTEE
I take great pride in my work. All jewellery is guaranteed to be free from defects in craftsmanship and materials on delivery. Should the jewellery fail, and examination reveals it was due to negligence on my part, I will repair or replace the item at no additional cost, or, if preferred, give a full refund within 10 days of purchase. Your refund will be issued upon receipt of item (return shipping not reimbursed). Please do not return any orders without first contacting me. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. Please note, I do not refund earrings.
RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY
I am not responsible for damage to jewellery due to rough wear, abuse to thread, rips and carelessness, so please NO perfume, NO sea water, No shower like indicated on the jewellery tag. Just treat your jewellery piece like you would treat a BABY with care and respect. It is advisable to check the clasp and rings on a regular basis to avoid loosing your piece.

RETURN POLICY
All products are inspected for quality, packed with loving care, and is sent undamaged, and in top condition. Refunds can only be granted in case of defects in craftsmanship and materials. There is no refunds for incorrect choice and no refunds on earrings. Also there is no exchange on earrings due to standard health regulations.
I am proud to inform you that I have NEVER had a single jewellery piece returned!
